Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

Learn to teach the deeply propped, deeply rested practice — the kind of restorative class people drive across town for.

About this program

Restorative yoga is its own discipline, not just slow yoga. This training covers prop choreography, holding-time science, the language and pacing that make a restorative class actually restful, and how to adapt for bodies, ages, and conditions. By the end you can plan and lead a 75-minute restorative class with confidence.

What you'll come away with

  • A repertoire of 30+ deeply propped restorative shapes.
  • Sequencing and pacing patterns for full-length classes.
  • Adaptations for pregnancy, injury, mobility limits, and trauma.
  • Yoga Alliance continuing education credit.
