Strength training

Real strength work, taught like yoga: with care, cues, and progressions that meet your body.

No mirror walls, no PR-or-die culture. Push, pull, hinge, squat — programmed in clear progressions, scalable up or down depending on what your shoulders, knees, and life have on offer that day.

Why strength here

Yoga and strength work better together than either does alone.

Yoga teaches you to feel what's happening in your body. Strength training teaches it to do more. The combination — done well — is what makes practice durable into your sixties, seventies, and beyond. We program strength the same way we program yoga: clear cues, real progressions, no all-or-nothing energy.

We use weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight. You don't need a fitness background. Most students mix yoga and strength in the same week.

What you'll work on

  • Squat patterns — goblet, split, single-leg.
  • Hinge patterns — deadlift cousins, kettlebell swing, hip extension.
  • Push patterns — push-up progressions, overhead pressing.
  • Pull patterns — rows, hangs, pulling progressions.
  • Carries, anti-rotation, and core work that earns its keep.
